This is a spacious and beautifully refurbished town house, set in a quiet position just off the beach and town centre. The accommodation is presented to the highest standard, with tasteful, comfortable furnishings throughout. There is a sheltered enclosed patio area at the rear. Every room is bright, airy and spacious. The beach, seafront, indoor swimming pool, children's play area, shops and cafes are just 200 yards walk away. The footpaths overlooking the Lyme Bay coastline are easily reached from the house.

ACCOMMODATION: Spacious light and airy sitting room with an open fire. Dining area. Spacious cream, Shaker style very well equipped kitchen with door to conservatory leading to enclosed courtyard garden. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one south facing with double bed and air conditioning unit. Single bedroom. Bathroom with modern white suite comprising shower over bath and W.C. Second separate WC. On the second floor is a good size double bedroom with south facing dormer window. At the rear is a good size enclosed patio area with table and chairs.

The long stay car park is a pleasant 10 minute stroll along the seafront, weekly tickets are £23.00 per week and cover all East Devon Council car parks. The short stay car park and overnight parking is a few minutes walk from the property. The property is accessed via a walkway from the road, approximately 150 yards. It is possible for those good at manouvering to get a car to the front of the property where there is room to park

October 2012: We had a very nice stay in this holiday home. Very well furnished and equipped, thanks for the kitchen supplies and nice to find excellent high chair under the stairs. Enjoyed looking at the books and materials left for visitors very useful. Great TV. Lovely quiet central location, would never had known it existed.

September 2012: Have had a really good holiday, some very pleasant weather and opportunity to get out and about and re-visit some familiar places. Very comfortable house, well equipped and spacious - excellent holiday base. Many thanks.

August 2012: A very enjoyable holiday. So much to do without using the car. Love Sidmouth and all the great shops within a minute of the cottage. Lovely local walks along the coastal path. Tennis, swimming pool, cinema and of course the sea all within 5 minutes of cottage. Ottery St Mary silver band gave a free concert at Connaught Gardens while we were here. A great location for a British holiday!

June 2012: What a lovely holiday home! Clean and comfortable on arrival, a real home from home. Wi fi was a bonus, couldn't have asked for any more except good weather. Rained every day more or less. But after numerous trips to Sidmouth we came well prepared. Kids enjoyed day out to Pecorama, also good indoor pool in Exmouth which has nice warm toddler water pool. Lyme Regis lovely, nice sandy beach for the kids. Had pleasant evening meal in Black Horse - family friendly, good kids meals. We were very grateful for extra bag of DVD's to get us through the wet weather. It hasn't put us off and I am sure we will be back again.

Short Breaks are available from the end of October half term to the start of the Easter school holidays, or at the owners' discretion for a last minute booking at other times of the year. Unfortunately it would be most unusual for us to be in a position to consider a short break at peak holiday times, such as the October and February half terms or over the Christmas, New Year and Easter breaks.
