"Brackens" is a charming cottage forming part of a delightful mews of converted barns all sympathetically designed with much character and original features. Located off a quiet lane leading to Woodbury Common and overlooking an orchard this is an idyllic place in which to spend a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The quaint and totally unspoilt seaside town of Budleigh Salterton is just a few minutes drive away with its wonderful selection of individual shops, restaurants and inns. There are lovely walks along the River Otter which leads down to the sea at Budleigh Salterton, the path along the Jurassic Coast can be accessed here. The whole area is ideal for bird watching, cycling, walking, horse riding and golf all of which are within a short distance of the cottage.
ACCOMMODATION: Inner lobby leading to well equipped modern kitchen and spacious dining area with French doors to beautiful patio and garden area. Comfortably furnished sitting room with French doors leading to patio and garden, overlooking orchard and fields. Modern bathroom with shower over bath and W.C. Turning cottage style stairs to open plan double bedroom with exposed beams and sloping ceiling. Lovely outlook over surrounding countryside and velux windows. Outside there is a very pretty garden with patio area, garden furniture and small summerhouse.
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION: TV, DVD and hi fi. Electric cooker. Microwave, washing machine, freezer. Duvet and pillows on bed, bed linen included. Gas central heating Garden with garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. 1 small pet charged at £20.00 per week. No smoking. Thursday to Thursday changeover day.
