Swan Chalet is a luxury, detached cedar wood chalet, situated right on the beach at Branscombe with uninterrupted sea views across Lyme Bay. Completely refurbished for 2010 with no expense spared, this beautifully presented chalet now has double glazed windows, full electric heating, designer kitchen, luxury bathroom with shower and comfortable leather sofas. South facing verandah and parking in front of the chalet. This chalet is suitable for use all year round, and makes a lovely cosy retreat even in the depth of winter. Often described by visitors to this area as 'idyllic'. The outstanding beauty of this, one of the most stunningly beautiful parts of rural Devon, part of the Jurassic Coast and is now recognised internationally as a World Heritage Site. There is a shop selling fresh local produce, and also a super cafe. The Masons Arms and Fountain Head pubs in the village are two of the most popular pubs in the area.
ACCOMMODATION:
Approached via a short path from the parking area. Entrance hall with space for shoes. Top quality individiually designed kitchen with integrated appliances. Dining area. Comfortable sitting room with leather corner sofa. French doors opening onto south facing verandah with chairs, directly overlooking the beach and Lyme Bay. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed facing out to sea, what a lovely way to wake up in the morning with your cup of tea. The second bedroom has a single or double bed, with a high level bunk bed in roof space. Whilst great fun, the bunk bed is suitable only for children of a safe climbing age.. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and storage space. Luxury fully tiled bathroom with shower over bath. Two adjoining parking spaces.
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION:
TV with dvd and cd player. New double glazed windows. Full electric heating throughout. Gas oven with stainless steel hob. Microwave. Fridge with freezer compartment. Duvets and pillows provided, bed linen is included and the beds made up on arrival. No pets. No smoking. There is a communal laundry room with washing machines, dryers and iron. From 30th October to 1st April there is a supplement of £15.00 per week for electricity. Wi Fi broadband is available at £5.00 per day or £12.00 per week. Fri/Fri changeover. Short break rates are not available at this chalet.
